Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST™)

Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST™) is a fully clothed, table-based assisted stretching approach that uses gentle, rhythmic movements and stretches through different angles and ranges of motion.

FST™ takes a whole-body approach, working with the joints, fascia and nervous system through movement, traction and assisted stretching. Sessions are adapted to the individual, with the aim of creating a comfortable stretching experience and exploring movement and range of motion.

I am a certified FST™ Level 1 practitioner.

Who is FST™ for?

FST™ can be suitable for a wide range of people, from athletes and regular gym-goers to people who simply want to move and feel less restricted. Unlike stretching on your own, FST™ is practitioner-assisted, allowing you to relax while your body is guided through different angles and ranges of motion.

Rather than simply holding individual stretches, FST™ incorporates traction, gentle oscillating movements and flowing sequences of assisted stretches. The session is adapted to how your body moves and responds, making it a very different experience from a general stretching routine.

You don't need to be flexible or athletic to experience FST™.

What to expect during the session?

FST™ is performed fully clothed on a massage table. During the session, I guide your body through gentle, rhythmic movements and assisted stretches, using traction and stabilisation where appropriate.

Stabilisation straps may be used to comfortably support and stabilise a limb while allowing the rest of your body to relax. This gives me greater control over the movement and allows us to explore different angles and ranges of motion without you having to actively hold the position.

Wear comfortable, stretchy clothing such as leggings, shorts, track pants, a T-shirt or tank top.

Your job during the session is simply to relax, breathe and let me do the stretching.

Sessions are tailored to how your body moves and responds on the day. Some people notice a changes in how they move or feel after their first session, while others choose regular FST™ sessions as part of their mobility, training or general wellbeing routine.
