Sports massage

Sports massage is a targeted approach that can be tailored around your training, activity and individual needs. Sessions may focus on areas of muscular tension, movement or recovery from training, using different massage and hands-on techniques as appropriate.

You don't need to be an athlete to book a sports massage — sessions can be adapted for anyone who prefers a more focused approach to massage.

Deep tissue massage

Deep tissue massage uses slower, more focused techniques and firmer pressure where appropriate. It can be incorporated into a massage session depending on your preferences, areas of muscular tension and how your body responds to pressure.

Deep tissue doesn't necessarily mean the massage needs to be painful — pressure can always be adjusted to your comfort

Hot Stone massage

Hot stone massage incorporates smooth, heated basalt stones into the massage. The warmth can create a relaxing and comforting experience, while the massage itself is tailored to your preferences and needs.

Hot stone massage requires additional preparation and must be booked in advance.

Cupping

Cupping uses suction created by cups placed on the skin, creating a lifting rather than compressive pressure on the tissues. Cups may be kept in place or moved across the skin and can be used as another way of working with areas that feel tight or restricted.

Cupping may leave temporary circular marks on the skin. It can be incorporated into your massage session with your consent and at no additional charge.

Dry needling

Dry needling uses fine, sterile needles inserted into selected areas of muscle. It is a more targeted technique that may be used when working with specific areas of muscular tightness or sensitivity, and some people experience a brief twitch or cramping sensation during needling.

Dry needling is always optional and can be incorporated into your massage session with your consent, at no additional charge.
